When new guests Lizzie and her father Jack arrive, Summer faces hurtful comments from other children about her appearance, which leaves her feeling self-conscious. However, with support from her mom and Lizzie, who also has curly hair, Summer learns how to care for and embrace her natural beauty. A visit to a salon helps her realize that her hair is unique and beautiful, leading to newfound confidence. This heartwarming story highlights themes of self-acceptance, friendship, and learning to love oneself in the face of criticism.
